About
My name is Katie Pyne and I am both a photographer and a marketer, located in Southern California. I graduated from the University of La Verne, Cum Laude with departmental honors, majoring in photography and minoring in business with an emphasis on marketing. I was titled the University of La Verne's Photographer of the Year in 2018. I received my masters degree and graduated with my MBA with an emphasis on marketing in 2022.
My Photographic Publications include: the Los Angeles Times, photographic book The Female Body: Exposed, La Verne Campus Newspaper and Magazine, multiple online publications in correlation with events, fundraisers, galas, and concerts in association with Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation and University of La Verne.
I started pursuing photography in high school and was the Editor in Chief of the Yearbook Committee and the school photographer while also being the Team Captain of the Varsity Cross Country Team, on the Varsity Soccer Team, and I was the high school mascot, a Koala. I didn't decide to pursue photography within my educational field until sophomore year of undergrad. I worked 4 jobs while going to school full time and living a college life.
My entrepreneurial spirit drives my passion and interests to continue to learn and experience new things while challenging myself in different fields. I identify as a photographer however I do other forms of art as well.
